SQL vs Native Feature Differences

Hi,
I am not a certified partner, i work in a company that runs nav.
Can anyone tell me which features of Nav2009 work only with SQL databases?
I am in the process of upgrading from nav4 to nav2009 classic (with c/side) and i found that web-services will only work with SQL databases... which other features require sql?
(i know i can run it manually via NAS however i prefer not to do that and in considering the conversion to SQL i would like to know the additional features id be gaining) (my partner is somehow unaware of these differences).
Thank you!

To mind the only other feature I can think of is the RTC.

SQL: fast backups, differential backup, transactionlog backups. Backup compression (SQL 2008 Enterprise or SQL 2008 R2 Standard). Data+Index Compression (SQL2008 (r2) Enterprise).
Native-only: company backups.Regards,Alain Krikilion

Within NAV, security filter only works with SQL.
But file management for SQL is MUCH better than C/Side database.Confessions of a Dynamics NAV Consultant = my blog

Much simpler and easier external interfaces since most tools for reporting will work out of the box with SQL Server.
No separate NODBC to buy and upgrade with every release.David Machanick

In generally - everything what is based on the new technology, will not work on Native DB. And you must know, that NAV2009 is last version supporting native DB. NAV 2013 and newer will have only the new technology and supports only MS SQL.0
