USERID function with Windows Authentication

Hi NAV professionals,

How to use the function USERID when using Windows Authentication(domainname\liizz) to connect to Navison.

For e.g: Rec.Name:= USERID(This does not work for Windows Authentication)

Hi, are you able to use the C/SIDE reference guide? It explains how to utilize the USERID function

Do you mean this part on Userid when doing F1?

'In this field you can define the user ID of the user. Make sure that the ID is identical to the one defined for the user in SharePoint. The format of the user ID must be DOMAIN\USERID.'

When I use database login its working fine but not for windows login..

USERID is blank with Windows Authentication..
I want the system userid(i.e liizz) to get updated in my table and in process also.

Help please...

No it isn't. It shows the username, without domain. Try MESSAGE(USERID).
