Performance Issue Serial No. Tracking

We have turned on Serial Numbers in Navision for items that require SN tracking. Some of the items are recieved in quatities of 10,000+. When assigning these SN in Navision it takes a tremendously long time, and even longer when deleting the tracking lines. There was a previous post with the same issue, and I am woundering if anyone has found a resolution to this problem.
