Dear All,

I have installed NAV 2009 R2 Build 33319. 1 database server, 1 middle server, 1 client computer.
When I shutdown all server and start again, the NAV server service is not start automatically although its startup type is automatic.
How could this happen? How to solve this issue?
Thank you.
Best regards,

Johanna

    Dear Tony,

In Event Viewer, there is no error about NAV server service, only WMI error. Is it related?
In Log On As A Service, there is no Administrators, but seems like SID (example : *S-293203023-2392329392-932932939).
What should I do? Please help. Thank you.

    Hi Johanna,

You should ask your IT Services to help out.
Seeing only SID in the log on tab, could means the server can't resolve the SID with the Active Directory.
It could be many things, but most obviously, you would check if the server is part of a domain/can reach a domain, and if yes, if the account you are using still exists in the AD.

    good luck

    Hi Dan77,

Thank you for your suggestion.. :)
The server is part of a domain and can reach a domain. The account I am using still exists in the AD.
For another policy, there is no SID, just the account name. Only in Log On Service, there is SID and no account name.. :(
    Best regards,

This issue is solved by using NetTcpPortSharing.
    Thanks all.
