How to force user input a field

Regarding to the same issue on the title, I tried to use NotBlank = yes on property and TESTFIELD(field) on OnInsert and OnModify trigger. Just need when user leave the current line an error message show to reminder user
Ex: in Sales order form, in line area user should input Bin Code before leave to the next line
