ls retail action counter interval

hello ls retail experts
I need to ask about action counter interval
my understand for this option that if the head office has 10000 new actions and pos replicate these actions if I set the action counter interval to 1000 for pos replcation job this meaning that the pos will replicate 1000 by 1000 until finish is this true?
