The new value(x2) is not being considered-going to next line

Hi all,

I am doing a calculation on the Lines part of a form. I have placed this code on the AfterGetRecord trigger. There is an initial value(x1) in that field but when I change the value to x2 and afterwards goes back to the next line.

It enters the initial value,i.e x1 again.

Can you please help on this

Did you forget to call Modify ?

Don't program form triggers to modify data. That should go in the field's Onvalidate trigger in the table object.
