Hi,

I have a question about charts...

The graph that appears on a page by checking the customization option "panel chart" can be put in fixed for all users?

I don´t want the user to configure it, I would like to create for all users. I think it´s an XML chart but i´m not sure...

    Hi

    If you would like to set the user-interface for all users you have to run the RTC in configuration mode.
    You can set the property in the shortcut on your desktop (or wherever).
    You have to be the "owner" of the profile you want to configure.

    use this for your Shortcut:
    "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics NAV\60\RoleTailored Client\Microsoft.Dynamics.Nav.Client.exe" -configure -profile:"PROFILE"

    to start the RTC in configuration mode for the specified profile.

    I found this:
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd338743.aspx

    I hope this helps you.

    Then, charts are configurated in the profile instead of the user... :-k

    I´ll try to do like you say...

    Hi
    The Charts are saved in the Table 2000000078 (Chart) in XML Format.
    You can configure the charts if you export, modify, and import them. (or create a new)
    But if you want that all users have the chart in their Role Center, you have to confiugre it in the profile.

    You can´t add filters in this charts, right?

    You can add filters in the XML-Format.

    I give you an example of a Chart:
    Here I added the Filter for the Item No. from 1100 to 1250. (1100..1250)
    You could add more Filters.
    <ChartDefinition
    xmlns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:dynamics:NAV:MetaObjects"
    xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
    xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
    Type="Column">
    	<Title>
    		<Text ID="ENU">Items by location </Text>
    		<Text ID="DES"> Artikel nach Lagerort </Text>
    	</Title>
    	<Table ID="32">
    		<Filters>
    			<Filter>
    				<Field Name="Item No." />
    				<Value>1100..1250</Value>
    			</Filter>
    		</Filters>
    	</Table>

    <!--
    	Achsen
      -->

    	<XAxis ShowTitle="true">
    		<Title>
    			<Text ID="ENU">Location Code</Text>
    			<Text ID="DES">Lagerort Code</Text>
    		</Title>
    		<Field Name="Location Code" />
    	</XAxis>

    	<ZAxis ShowTitle="true">
    		<Field Name="Item No." />
    	</ZAxis>

    	<YAxis ShowTitle="true">
    		<Measures>
    			<Measure Operator="Sum">
    				<Field Name="Quantity" />
    			</Measure>
    		</Measures>
    	</YAxis>

    <!--
    	End Achsen
    -->
    </ChartDefinition>

    Isitar but I mean the charts that you insert from the chart panel, not stored in the table 2000000078

    Are you talking about the chart below a listpage?
    You can add a filter on the list, then the chart get's filtered too.
