32 bit ODBC Navision Win 7 (odbcad32 stops responding)

Hello all,

So I'm setting up an odbc for my Navision 3.6 in Windows 7
Via the posts:

I learned I had to do this with Windows\SYSWOW64 odbcad32.exe, ok everything good and well.
I can select the databasename but when I try company or options it greys out and I get the message that the program is no longer responding
anyone else recently having this.

    Probably because Navision 3.6 is not compatible with W7.

    I know that, its installed on a window xp virtual machine, I'm trying to create a linked server to it but for that I need to get the correct odbc working.
    I fixed the first post, those were links not images.

    OK, the linked server odbc connection works running a test query now.
    It was the stupidest thing, the system language settings differed from the setup I was using.
