VALIDATE in dataport Item Journal Line

I'm importing text field in item journal line.
Even if I set "CallFieldValidate" property this seems to have no effect.
For example when I insert "item no." field "Inventory Posting Group" was automatically compiled but in the dataport not!
Why this?
