Restore Database Problem

Hi there,

I backed up a 3.70 db with two companis on it (only data, no objects). I uninstall Nav 3.70 client and install Nav 3.70 B client. I've merged the databases versions to get the new customer version.

Then, I start nav client 3.70 B with the new merged customer db version. When I restore the 3.70 backup, everything seems to be fine until I get the message "TableData 1000000225 already exists".

Does anyone know what this message means? I'm comletely lost... it is supposed that the new 3.70B has no data on it :?

Thanks in advance

Juan

    Hi

I've got the same problem in the past. Do you have some tables in your database with 'DataPerCompany = NO'? Navision have some problems with it. If the restore did'nt finish correct, the system don't delete the temporay tables which are created during the restore process.

    Follow steps had helped me:
Start the restore again and let the system complete it's work. After that, the temporay tables may be deleted.

    I hope, this helps

    Many thanks, Roger
