Transfer from Native to SQL

Hey all !!
We have to transfer several Native DBs to an SQL server. Questions are :
- Is there somewhere a kind of "Checklist" document to explain step-by-step how to make the transfer, what must be verified before ... Of course we know how to transfer (make a Native backup, open an SQL Client and make a Restore), but meaby there is a lot of checks to do before and/or after this...
- Is there an automatic procedure to create SQL users from Native users.
