Change of Costing Method

Hi Experts,
I am seeking your help in order to solve the below mentioned details:
my Client is currently fllowing Costing Method for the Inventories as Average, now from the 1st April 2012 they are going for costing method FIFO with that consideration 1) Data will be continued in the same database 2) there will be no such migration activities will take place for that
Kindly help me asap
