how to add the no. of the records at the end of the report

Hi

I created a new report which display the items and serial numbers bought from each vendor. I am getting this information from Serial No. Information table so I do not have any quantity there.

I want to add at the end of each item (on each vendor) the total quantity. For example

Customer 1

---

Item1

---

Serial1

---

Item1

---

Serial2

---

Item1

---

Serial3

---

Item1

---

Serial4

---

Total Item1

---

4
Customer 2

Can anyone please help me how to accomplish this?

I hope they have indeded in order you mentioned..then take an integer variable and increase it by one each time you print the Serial No. Information and make it to 0 in Vendor OnAfterGetrecord..

But every Vendor can have different items

so I want a total, but for every item. for example total item1, total item2 etc

then you have to try something like

IF PRevItem <> "Item No" THEN BEGIN

  ItemCount := 1;
END ELSE BEGIN
  ItemCount += 1;
END;

add a textbox with linecount as the sourceexp
