We are currently on NAV 4 sp3 and r planning to upgrade for nav2009.
Would appreiciate to confirm following.
when we implemented nav 4 sp3 no of users were say60 and now 150+ and our business volume is also expecting grow nearly double in terms of transactions. Being discret mfg engg co invloves volumneous subcon trasnsactions. currently we dont see any performence issue except adjust cost batch which takes too much time because of transaction volume.
Your opinion is required : If say our no of users grows to say 300+ and also database does Nav 2009 will support or is there any perf issue will face?. or better to swithAX?

Thanks in Advance

regards,

Prashnat

It depends upon the users work..if 300 users are posting purchase or sales orders then obviously you will get performance issues..

Have you asked your partner about performance issues and how to solve them?
There are companies that specialize in solving performance problems for larger user bases.
Plus your partner - if they are plugged in to the future of NAV can advise you on any future plans for performance improvements in the NAV product.
If you have not already made plans to go to Convergence next week, it may too late now unless you already have a travel visa - but that would be the place to find answers from Microsoft directly.
