NAV Three Tier
Hi everybody,
Recently i have learned how to return a value to a web service to read and capture.
But now my problem is how I can use an external web service from NAV. Anyone know any guide, example or something to help me?
Thx a lot...

There were already discussions about that and there are some blog posts too.
In general:
Create SOAP request (correctly formated XML)
Send it to the address (over HTTP)
Read the answer (again XML).

In this blog
http://mibuso.com/blogs/ara3n/2008/03/0 ... -navision/
you can find an example for currency webservice, which will show you how to call external webservice from navision.
You have to create xml doc based on wsdl and call that using POST method.

If you are on 2009 R2 and you use RTC environment, you could also consider this solution
http://dynamicsuser.net/blogs/waldo/archive/2011/12/20/net-interop-consume-a-third-party-web-service-check-vat-registration-no.aspx
which is using .net Interop.
