XMLPorts - Import Variable Text - Limit of file size?

Hi all,

I tried to import a .txt file (1,6 Mb) with a XMLPort and I have the following error:
"The source text is not valid to import for fixed or variable format".

I edited the file in order to delete half of the text lines and it worked. I presume the error is due to the size or the amount of lines that the file has. Can you please tell me anything about this?

Thank you very much.

Not sure... but could you check the value of this key in the CustomSettings file?
    <add key="MaxUploadSize" value=" "></add>

Scroll down to see all the available Settings in the CustomSettings.config File

Thanks, but the value I had was 5Mb for "MaxUploadSize".
I presume that's not the setting I am looking for.

I also didn't find any thing related in the CustomSettings.config File :S

I guess it was something else then. :-k

"The source text is not valid to import for fixed or variable format".
Got same error today and found out that it was because of non ASCII characters in the import file. Rereading the error message it is more or less pointing out to this saying that "the source text is not valid for import", so in my case containing "illegal" characters.
