    probably it will affect:
SPNs - will have to set up again.
windows logins - I'm not sure if change domain name change the login SIDs, probably not but I'd have that in mind.
-user personalizations - if windows logins are affected
-user metadata - if windows logins are affected

If you change the domain, all the SID's are lost.

I suggest to export the windows user table and roles into text.
Rename the domain and import the data again.

I think he is talking about renaming the domain, not change:
You can also rename domains without actually impacting the trust relationships between existing domains within your Active Directory environment. When you rename domains, you can change the DNS and NetBIOS names of the domain, but the domain GUID and domain SID are left intact. This allows you to rename the domain and all associated child domains without affecting the structure of the domain tree.

    hi mikael
    thank for correcting me...
you are right, what i mean is renaming the domain name
because right now i have problem about trust relationship
RTC from that server itself can connect to database
    but from PC Client cant

this is because the SPN that is set for the user that run the service is not correct now.
The cmd for creating spn is
    setspn -S InstanceName/FullyQualifiedDomainNameOfServer:Port Domain\User

or just use the adsiedit.msc console. Also you can remove the spn values for this user that are not valid after the domain name changed.
