Hello,

i want to backup all our application objecs each night. We
make a 'full' backup every day, but i also need only a backup
of the application objects.

Exists there a solution.

Best regards,
Kai.

PS: I mean automatical not 'by hand' <img border="0" title="" alt="" src="images/smiles/icon_wink.gif" />

    I try it with a macro-recorder (with several <img border="0" title="" alt="" src="images/smiles/icon_wink.gif" />. The problem is,
that on the 'Create backup Window' exists no shortcut for the
Items 'Apllikationsobjekte' and so on. You only can 'drive' the
mousepounter per macro-recorder to that position and send several clicks (for each item you want to select/deselect). Not a very professional solution <img border="0" title="" alt="" src="images/smiles/icon_wink.gif" />

Is this realyy the only solution for this 'problem' ?

    Thanks a lot.

    Best regards,
    Kai.

Navision announced a server based backup program to make on-line backups, and what can be started from the command prompt. Maybe it is possible to backup only application objects, I haven't seen it yet.

Concerning macro recorders: try to do everything with keyboard commands. Otherwise, when the resolution changes, or the location of the windows/icons, you are in trouble.

    Hmmm... <img border="0" title="" alt="" src="images/smiles/icon_smile.gif" />

You can access the radio-buttons using Ctrl-UpArrow. The space bar toggles your selection (on/off).

And the comandline backup-program will be included with Navision Attain 3.10. I don't have any more info.
