For PCI purposes we need to use the normal SQL function to Encrypt our NAV database. Anyone ever done this? Does NAV support (we are still classic client but do use web services as well) this or does it not have anything to do with NAV as it is just a back end SQL thing? We are on SQL 2008 but wll be upgrading to SQL 2008 R2 in the next few months.

I think it should be transparent for NAV, but best will be to try and test it.0
