Cannot create codeunits

jaro84jaro84 Member Posts: 17
Hi everyone!

Im wondering why I cant create new codeunits. Is there some pre-setup that i've missed?

My license should be ok. It includes this:

8200 Tables (10) 50
8300 Forms and Pages (100) 200
8400 Reports (100) 100
8500 Dataport (100) 100
8600 Codeunits (100) 200
8750 XML Ports (100) 100

The message is: You do not have permission to run the 'Design, Codeunit, Basic' System.

What is wrong?

Make sure that you have Object Type System and Object ID 0 in permissions of Super Role..

You are trying to create with ID?

Can you be able to design any existing Codeunits?

It is not enough to have the objects in License. The object range needs to be assigned. Ask your partner for the range assigned and if nothing is assigned then ask him to do so. The partners have the right to do so in the Partner Source. Once done partner can provide you with the updated license.

Read the error message. It has nothing to do with permission to access codeunits or having them in your license, the message is saying you don't have permission to access 'Design, Codeunit, Basic' this is granule 7200. You probably don't have that granule and need to purchase it.

 Seems we all missed it. Executing Codeunit requires codeunits to be purchased and assigned id's. But designing (Read,Insert,Modify,Delete) requires Application Builder Granule.
