I have a client that would like to know the answer to the following question:
Does the value in the timestamp field on the G_L Entry table change if there is any change on the record? Is it a standard SQL Server rowversion/timestamp field?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes. Yes.
PS: Don't use if for any processing logic because in a future version of SQL Server it may not exist anymore. It is deprecated.Regards,Alain Krikilion
