BOM update > component update

Hello,
When I create a new BOM version, how can I have the system go and update the affected production orders?
Is there a planning worksheet that will suggest an action message to refresh the production order or update the components?

No such thing.
The reason is because if the production order is released to the shop floor, the risk of you changing the components on the system when the component has already been actually used.
For all planned production orders, you will need to replan because it may affect the scheduling dates of the components involved with the new components.Confessions of a Dynamics NAV Consultant = my blog
