Losing Menusuite Focus when changing company

Hi
I have a customer that have been upgraded from a Native database to an SQL database... Before, they could change company and still just press Enter to go into the form (from the menusuite) they stood on before changing company. Now they need to press F12 (to "activate" the Menusuite) and Enter... It is as if the menusuite is losing focus when changing company - can this be changed?
It is a small thing but a little annoying for them and I am also curiuos if this is something that can be changed? Or just something they have to live with...
Thanks...
