Signed Contract with wrong Service Period

Hi All,
We clearly understood that signed contract if contains any wrong info, it should be cancelled and create a new service contract.
However, out of curiosity, if wrong service period inserted, any workaround to keep the same contract (not to cancel it) but change only the Service Period?
