Items by Location filtering problem

Hi folks,
We are having probs with our Items by Location report. Filtering only seems to work on the first 4 columns. When we try to filter on the remaining 3 columns 0 results show up. Can anyone tell me what the problem could be? By the way, someone added a new location a couple of days ago...could this have caused the problem?
