c/odbc and logins

Hi. We are trying to use Crystal and c/odbc to write reports outside of Naivison. The problem we are running into is when a user is logged into Navision, that counts as one "session". Then, if they run a crystal report, that counts as a second "session". Therefore, it seems to me that we need two licensed per person.

Am I going about this wrong, or have others encountered this same problem? If so, how did you deal with it?

That's how it is.
Only solution I have is run the report & then close Crystal. Don't leave it open in the background all day.

Not eveyone is logged in all the time. Leaving a session(s) open here & there. So we don't really need 2 for every person.
