Discount structure in navision

Hi All,

Can anyone tell how does the discount structure works and the levels.

Invoice discounts,
Line discounts,
Customer group discounts,
item group discounts,
etc.

How does these apply.

Customer/Item group discounts are always represented as line discounts - NAV allways chooses the best/highest possible discount for the customer. The sales order/invoice discount is applied on top of the line discounts.
