Hi..

I have Windows & on my machine, i have installed 2009R2 W1 version.

Issues:

1. On importing the License in Navision following error appears
Microsoft Dynamics NAV Classic
The operating system cannot access to the file C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics NAV\60\Classic\fin.flf .

Verify that the file type and attributes are correct.

OK

2. The Customsettings is not saving as i change the database name and try to save, it opens the window with the path
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics NAV\60\Service, and asks to replace the existing file. On pressing yes, it says
Access is denied

Note:
1. I have installed the Nav2009R2W1 as Administrator and have done this multiple times to resolve the above two errors.

Any Suggestions

Regards
Apsl

You need to run the client as admin, to just install it.

    Hi kine,
I have done that twice, but the output was Zero.

Then today i just went to the Control Panel, link given below:
Control Panel\System and Security->Change User Account Control Settings and Changed
Change User Account Control Settings to Never Notify.
    And Restarted my machine.
And guess what Access is granted.

    Hard Work Pays!!

This is only proof, that the problem was UAC, which means permission problem.
