Could not open native db while NAS is running

Hi all,
How to run NAS to be able to open the native database at the same time? I recall that I did somehow, but now cannot. I think it must be something simple, but...
I installed NAS through standard Windows installer, filled in the parameters in the NAS server manager and started it. In the Event log I see message that NAS is started successfully. Now I try to open the DB. It gives me an error: "You cannot use the file bla-bla-bla.fdb because it is already in use."
What should I do to NAS to avoid this error?
I have searched hardly, but cannot find anything that helped.
Thanks in advance.

Did you install the Navision server (not the application server)? It sounds like you have a stand alone database, which can only have one user in it at a time.0

Such behavior is normal if you are using the database as a file not via the native db server.0
