LS Retail / ChargeLogic / NAV Credit Card Error

Experiencing a problem where at the POS system a CC # is manually entered instead of swiped. Occasionally the next time a credit card is swiped at the same POS terminal instead of charging the newly swiped credit card it is charging the previous credit card that was manually entered on a previous transaction.

The problem can't be recreated on demand, but through posting entries in the Trans. Payment Entry Table we can see this has happened roughly 10 times in the past month.

When a credit card # is manually entered is it stored somewhere temporarily? If so, is it possible that in a future transaction some type of error takes place and this previously stored CC # is being pulled into the current transaction?

Any info would be appreciated.

    Hi Richard,

    Just to confirm, where does the CC# information being stored at (is it an infocode or which field in trans. payment entry)? Any customization being done at POS Post Utility or other related codeunits?

    I suggest to contact chargelogic. They will be more than helpful in fixing this bug.
    My guess they are not clearing a variable.
