Business Notification - External SMTP Server Configuration

Hi All,

We are facing problems while implementing Business Notification granule for one of our customers.

We are able to execute Line->“suggest notification lines” and Functions->“send to business notification” from Form: Business Notification Worksheet. There are no errors and the application sends the message. But the recipient’s do not receive any mails. In Event Viewer -> Business Notification Log, there are no information or errors.

We have tested in our office environment and it works fine but the same does not work in client’s premises. The client’s SMTP Server is hosted by a third party.

Can you please tell us whether this could be the reason for the mails not being sent from Business Notification?. Is it mandatory that SMTP Server should also be in the same domain?.
