Short Date Format Required in Cheque Printing??

Hi Experts,

Is this possible to short Date(m/d/yyyy) display in cheque print report?

I want to print cheque Date in this format 01/10/2011(m/d/yyyy) but Navision provides Long Date format in cheque printing like this January 10,2012.

Suggest me the solution.
