The only issues I have with compiling (sometimes) is when the object is imported as text from an earlier version. In a classic client with native database it always works.
I'm not sure if this is the same problem that we often encounter with our clients. But you can try to search for the "FIN.ZUP" file in your hard drive. It usually resides in the applicationdata of your user files. Just delete this file and relogin to NAV.

I found that the issue was caused by an action, defined in the page, that in the RunObject Property had a page that didn't exist anymore.
Removed this action the page compile.

The hotfix causes a lot of problems if your version is different than your client's version.
