MSCSCfg Invalid Site Name

Hi please i need help
I get the error message below from the even log
**************START ERROR MSG*********
Invalid Site Name CommercePortal1 MSCSSiteConfig.cls:Initialize
**************END ERROR MSG*********
It is looking for CommercePortal1. I do not have a site called commercePortal1.
Prior to this I had to reinstall the pup files because the server dropped however I uninstalled the pup files then from the commerce Server Manager and all the files as indicated in “Installation & system Management E-commerce Solutions”
What I have done
1. Checked CP set up and Commerce Server manager for Commerceportal1 did not find the file.
I do not want to reinstall because I have a huge database that needs to be synced. Moreover I will lose all the custom tables that I have synced already. It actually took me a week to sync the tables because I have a lot of custom tables.
