Hello,
We receive orders from some customers and they are in an excel spreadsheet.
Is there any way thay you can do a data migration to populate the sales header/sales line tables to save on manual data entry?

Yes there is.
Take a look at report 81. This will give you a blueprint on how to import directly from Excel.
