Shortcut key asignment for POS Menu in LS-RETAIL

hi all,

we are using LS Retail 2009 SP 1, we need to asing some shortcut keys at pos level for selection of billing and selection of customers. ( Pressing "B" should take to Sales, Pressing "R" should take to refund, etc.)

can any one help in this regard.

Hi,

To Configure short cut keys , Go To LS Retail-POS-->Profiles-->Hardware.
In Hardware profile-Click on profile button --> POS Key commands.
Use Key Type as Menu Key and configure the short cut keys accordingly.

Hello LS Retail experts,

I tried to configure keys with F keys i.e. Key-1 (Void) with F1, Key-2(Minus Qty) with F2, Key-3(Change Qty) with F3......... Key-9(Lookup) with F9, Key-10(Total) with F10.
but somehow all shortcuts are not working. i.e. F1 & F2 is working but F9(Lookup) and F10(Total) is not working.

I also tried Alt+L (or L) for Key-9 (Lookup) which is also not working.
Please let me know, if i'm making any mistake in configuration.

How many rows and colums are configured for the particular menu?
i guess the number colums are 8 in your case.
