I also have a need to print MICR information in a stub-stub-check format. For now I'm forced back to a Classic Client report to pull it off. But I did try and do a bit more research and found that on 8.5in by11in page size that the RTC report is playing fast and loose with the vertical settings. I made a simple report that just did horizontal lines at half inch intervals. Then I pulled out a ruler. Everything was fine for the first eight inches, but between eight and ten inches each "inch" neasured only 13/16ths of an inch. After the ten inch mark, the spacing on the last half inch line once again matched the ruler.
It does this whether it is an actual printer or a PDF printer. All margins were set to zero.
Needless to say the banks are not going to accept checks with the MICR information so far out of vertical alignment with their specs. Does anyone know of a way to disable this lovely feature? Or has anyone heard of MSFT's reasoning for it?
