NoSeriesMgt.InitSeries(GetNoSeriesCode,xRec."No. Series","Posting Date","No.","No. Series");
Can anyone tel me for the above no.series code ,why the parameter posting date is used..?

InitSeries have these parameter -
DefaultNoSeriesCode
OldNoSeriesCode
NewDate
NewNo
NewNoSeriesCode
So i guess now you know what are the parameters and why they are used for.

Hi Saurav,
yes i knw that initseries have all these parameter but my question is why posting date parameter is used where we are not using the posting date in no.series ..?
I think now u got my point..

If you are using monthly Noseries then to get the latest Noseries we pass PostingDate..
It will filter on Stanrting Date of No Series Lines..
