NAV 4.03 with NAV 2009R2 executables + job scheduler

Has anyone run NAV4.03 with NAV 2009 R2 executables including the version 4 Job Scheduler?

My plan is to do a 2 phase classic upgrade:
1) executables only.
We are already running SQL Server 2008 R2 compatibility level 80.
I will raise that to compatibility level 100, the DBA group will rewrite the DTS jobs, and I will replace the one matrix form I found that does not run.
I would prefer to keep running the job scheduler at this point.

2) I will do the full upgrade to NAV 2009R2 Classic (RTC to come much later), and implement the job queue or a web based front end at that time.

Job Scheduler (or Job Queue in newer versions) is more or less a stand alone module. I believe it should be even possible to just upgrade that module. We did it for 5.01 on 6 R2 CC and it works pretty fine. And I can't see any reason why 4.03 Job Scheduler shouldn't work if you just upgrade the executables (assuming you just use CC for that).
