Different email when sending outlook email

Hello.
I'm a little curious if anyone has tried, and managed to send e-mail from outlook, BUT changing the "From E-mail" ?
I'm just trying to send and email using a different email, and not using SMTP. This is because i want to be sure that the email has been sent (Is in sent folder in outlook) as i understand, smtp does not store emails in the sendt folder.

Outlook can send a mail from another email adres, but the profile must exists and the profile sending must have the rights to send from the other profile.
(and it's sent because sent is past tense of send)

You can add a BCC: address to send a copy of the mail. Then it will appear in your Inbox instead of the Sent Items folder, but you could define a Outlook Rule to move that mail to the right folder.
