2 Question concerning EP on AX 2009

Hi all,
We've got 2 issues that we encountered during a rollout of the Entreprise Portal on AX 2009 ( Sharepoint 2010 ).
- The most annoying one (and appearantly a known issue) is adding TimeSheet via EP.
The user adds a new line,selects a project and then waits for some time (I think starting from 20 seconds)
When the user then wants to select his activity, the new line (that wasn't posted yet) dissapears.
I've been playing around will all sorts of time-outs, but can't figure it out.
- Unfortunately we use the dd/mm/yyyy dateformat in Belgium.
Every Axboundfield linked to a datetime field in AX (transdate for example), is formatted the US format (mm/dd/yyyy)
I've changed the regional settings on the Central Admin site, the EP site itself and even tried the 'My Regional Settings'
A solution could be forcing the DateFormat in the ASP.Net code, but that's a lot of work and not really efficient.
Does anybody have a possible solution for this?
