Retain the "Show Results:" filters on the top of a ListPage

Hi All,
On the item list page in RTC I need to ensure that whenever the page is opened the "Show Results" filter options are always shown. I have tried saving the view of the Page but that does not work - I have set the options ShowFilter and SaveValues to true on the RTC page design but that does not work either - Any ideas?????
