Why so much database connections?

Dear,

When opening "Database Information" -> Session Tab -> Current Sessions, I get a list of all active sessions connected to the DB.

I can assume that there are sessions for the users, but I also get a list of sessions connected to the master database.
Their purpose is not clear for me. When I try to terminate the sessions it tells me that I cannot cancel non-user sessions.



Could you explain me the purpose of those sessions please?

Filter on Connection ID >=50, the ones below 50 do not concern Navision.

Thus I can edit the dbo.sessions view so that those irrelevant entries do not apprear anymore or do may it have collateral effects?
