Hi,
I try to install and make EP working.
Unfortunately, I dont' know all I have to set up. I read a lot of documentation but I have questions.
My configuration :
SERVER 1
=========
64 bits
Windows SBS 2008 Standard
Sharepoint services 3.0
IIS 6.0
SERVER 2
=========
32 bits
Windows server 2003 R2 Standard edition SP2
NAV client 2009
SQL server 2008 R2
NAS
Employee Portal backend
I know there is a hotfixe for 64bits os with EP.
I have all the documentation but as you can see my server structure is a little bit special.
My questions :
-Does the application server must be installed on the same server than the sharepoint or Can I install a NAS on the other server ?
-I have an error when I install EP. It says : the file web.config does not exists in folder C:\inetpub\wwwroot\wss\VirtualDirectories\80 ? Normally, the installer must create this file automatically, no ?
