Hi
I'm testing our upgrade from 3.10 to 5.0 (Sp1) at the same time we're upgrading from MS office 2003 to 2010
All normal reports are running 2-3 times faster than on the old server, but our excel report are running much slower than on the old server
Has anyone had the same experience and maybee found a solution ?

Do you have a progress indicator? I have seen some cases where the progress indicator terrible slowed down the system, but on some machines more than on others.

No progress indicator, maybee its a xlrange issue, in 2003 there is only 65xxx rows compared to 16xxxxxx in 2010
I'll try to disable the section wich format the sheet tomorrow
