Dynamics CRM versus NetSuite, SalesForce.com, SugarCRM, etc.

Hello,
My company uses Dynamics NAV 5.0, significantly modified in my opinion, but not extreme.
We do much of our own programming in-house.
We are looking at migrating from our custom SQL Server/.Net CRM Solution to an Open Source or Commercial CRM Product.
We are open to both Hosted and On-Premise solutions but the chosen solution does need to tie into our smartphone fleet.
There are so many options available, but what we really want to know is 'will we be making a mistake by not choosing Dynamics CRM'?
The concern comes from the 'tie-in' from other systems (NetSuite, SalesForce.com, SugarCRM, etc.) and access to our ERP data.
To me, critical analytics and important features could be lost if the 'tie-in' is not very good or non-existent.
For example; Forecasting, Commission Compensation, Opportunity Management and other features of NetSuite CRM may only work well if you use NetSuite's ERP product.
Has anyone had any experience using Dynamics NAV with a CRM product that is not Dynamics CRM and if so, what has your experience been like?
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
