from development exam qs: anyone got any idea whats the max number of menusuites object in a database?

I tried to test out your answer but because i am holding user license does it restrict me to create 1 menusuite @ company level only?

i tried with developer license seems like i dont have the permission either(using object designer> menusuite> new> add on/ partner), i managed to create 1 menusuite at company level only. how do i create a new menusuite, or where can i find articles on maximum menusuites objects permit in a database? i cant find it in a development book or f1 either.

From the NAV MSDN Library:

With the exception of the Add-on MenuSuite object, for which a maximum of 10 instances is allowed, there can only be one MenuSuite object for each level.

Knowing that these are the MenuSuite Levels: MBS, Region, Country, Add-on, Partner, Company this comes down to a max. of 15 objects.

15 = [Country/Region]+ [Add-on]+[Partner] + [Company]
[Country/Region] = 1
[Partner] = 1
[Company] = 1
[Add-on] = max 10
i cant figure out why is it max 15 as the sum indicate 13 only.

MBS [1], Region [1], Country [1], Add-on 1 - 10 [10], Partner [1], Company [1]

how to use other menu suite?
i created several menu suites, but cant be used

and then in this menusuite i only show Financial Management
else i disabled

on the other hand, menusuite 1090 Dept - Company
is still standard menu

so i want to apply this menusuit 1051 to user

The menusuite with Highest number will be shown to the user.

If you want particular menus then use Role Centers concept for RTC

that's because limitation for role center
i want to separate menus in department
similar like classic menu suite
we can create several menu in menusuite and then can assign users
user a only can see this menu... user b can see that menu....
something like that

Create role center with Menuactivities as you needed and delete department menu from role center

role center only can add page (type : list)
