Split Assets

Hello everybody,
Is there a way to split Assets in the Navision?
Currently I have ONE Nav FA asset that is actually two Pickup trucks - one of which I am selling.
So, I would like to have this unique FA splitted into 2.
Is there any way to do that??
Thank you very much in advance!

Sell both to yourself, purchase them back seperately, then sell the one you want to sell.0

Hi Mark,
Thank you for your fast reply.
You mean to do that using NAvision Sales and Purchase documents, or using only FA Journal, not integrated to G/L?Marcelo Borges

I would do it with G/L since the old asset gets depreciated to zero. You want that in your G/L too I guess.
At the end of splitting your asset into two assets before selling the one you want to sell your G/L should be exactly the same as before the split.
Doing it via Sales and Purchase documents would make it very transparent if your accountant comes in and checks your books.0
