Developer License

I am a Navision Technical consultant and now IT executive.

I am currently working with the Navision client company.
I want to know that can a client company purchase 1 or 2 user developer liance from any MS partner for their inhouse use?

I so how much i would cost in INR?

A client doesn't purchase a separate developer license. They add the development granules to their current license. There are several granules that range in price form very reasonable to rather expensive.

Last what I know is Application Builder costing 8k euro and Solution Developer 25k.

Most self-developing customers use AB. The only difference I know of is that SD will also let you touch financial tables such as Posted Sales Invoices and G/L. The latter you should not want as an end user.

Also SD requires AB. So it's not 8K versus 25K, but rather 8K versus 33K.

And doesn't AD require each of the "builders": Form Builder, Report Builder, etc, which also cost extra. And then your objects as well.

And don't forget the annual maintenance fees. (or whatever they call them now)

I think the point of all these replies is just talk with the Navision partner for your company. They'll find point you to the right direction.
